What's Causing the Devils' Woes?
By Tom Mantzouranis Welcome to the Garden State. If you look to your left, you can see the Devils collapsing. Don't pay it any mind. It's just a bit of history repeating.
New Jersey's team has lost five in a row and six of their last seven. A team which not too long ago appeared not only a safe bet to take the East's No. 1 seed but represent it in the Stanley Cup Finals, the Devils now hold a tenuous divisional lead over the Flyers and could even, at worst, open the first round on the road. If you're a Devils fan, the most frightening part of all of this is that this slump mirrors last season's finish.

Yea they look horrible now. Too many old geezers and guys who need other talent around them to perform. I'd like to think we are just doing what Detroit did last year, but I really think it is more so the same thing we did last year. It's basically the same team.

Well the Wings do have a lot of young guys. It not like years in the past where they were very old. There a lot of guys they brought up from Grand Rapids and they can ship them down and bring in a new piece. A lot of D men have come up.
We shall see how they fare same team or not. You just need to hope for better results.
