Don't you hate it when...
You pull a card you think may have a high book value or at least sell half way decently. I do, I will not lie i have not been keeping up with hockey the past few months, as much as id like too anyway. Well today i buy a few packs of ud series 2 hoping to pull a yg or something cool. Well i got something cool. But it's of the Dallas stars. (I am NOT A DALLAS STARS FAN AT ALL. Actually i can't stand them.)
So i pulled a 2008 ud series 2 Mark Fistric Rookie play makers jumbo jersey /100. I was happy enough for only spending 13 bucks at the shop. but then i go home and lo onto ebay and notice it sells poorly, like wont sell for 99 cents poorly. But at least i got hit, im not trying to complain but just kinda feel let down. I think it is like, missing one number on a lottery ticket... no millions of dollars but a hundred grand aint bad either. Anything similar happen to anyone else, or am i alone and delusional?

Oh yeah, happens almost every break for me - pulled a 1st round draft pick (NBA) RC #d/50 - thought it'd be worth lots - I was sorely disappointed to find it's worth less than $10 - so, I am holding onto it, hoping that he becomes at least a semistar, considering it won't go much lower in value...lol

THat's been happening in all the football products. All the rookies GUs have become cheapened severely. Even when I pull a star rc GU, i'm surprised to find out it's only $6-8.

It aggravates me when the value of the cards I pull in a high price pack dont match up with what I paid for it

defiantly, I am a lower end collector so i don't buy many packs for more than 10 bucks. But i don't like most products like Absolute, because they are a quick thrill, (which i don't like much) and the value isn't as high as i could be because it's a "guarantee" product. but after all this is like gambling or the stock market so we have to play the cards we are dealt. but that's in my opinion.

I bet you all love it though when you need/want to buy a low-numbered single!
