EDIT... I am not the most political savvy person here. A lot of what is posted is personal thoughts supported by quotes from credable sources.
People will always have an opinion, everybody knows it. I find it hard to believe we wouldn't be seeing the same film on John McCain right about this time if he was to be elected president.
I personally have never heard of the guy KRS-one. Does not seem like the brightest fellow to me. Here was a comment he made about 9/11. This comment was pulled exactly off the wikipedia webpage/his bio.
I was asked about why hiphop has not engaged the current situation more (meaning 9/11), my response was "because it does not affect us, or at least we don’t perceive that it affects us, 9/11 happened to them". I went on to say that "I am speaking for the culture now; I am not speaking my personal opinion." I continued to say; "9/11 affected them down the block; the rich, the powerful those that are oppressing us as a culture. Sony, RCA or BMG, Universal, the radio stations, Clear Channel, Viacom with BET and MTV, those are our oppressors, those are the people that we're trying to overcome in hiphop everyday, this is a daily thing. We cheered when 9/11 happened in New York and say that proudly here. Because when we were down at the trade center we were getting hit over the head by cops, told that we can’t come in this building, hustled down to the train station because of the way we dressed and talked, and so on, we were racially profiled. So, when the planes hit the building we were like, "mmmm, justice." And just as I began to say "now of course a lot of our friends and family were lost there as well" I was interrupted...
And this film claims to be non partisan. Yet in the first 15 minutes they sure have hyped up a guy by the name of Webster Tarpley. Who, by the way, has a radio show which used to be on the Republic Broadcasting Network. I'm sorry but I have no idea how you can claim a film to be non partisan when the guy had a previous job for that network.
My favorite has to be about the 12:15 mark. This Tarpley guy goes off to state all his appointments(assuming he means council members) are all for wall st. There is nobody from the many walks of life in main st. OR WOMEN(summarized remark) In doing a little research on this I am going to pull up just a few. The first one was done by a google search and the last few are right off of whitehouse.gov
Faith advisory council
Judith N. Vredenburgh, President and Chief Executive Officer, Big Brothers / Big Sisters of AmericaPhiladelphia, PA
Department of State
Hillary Clinton
Department of Labor
Secretary Hilda L. Solis
Department of Health and Human Services
Secretary-designate: Kathleen Sebelius
Now Ill be ****ed if those ain't women.. Did they get some sex changes or something??? I am sure if I really wanted to, we would find some of these people also have background other than Wall ST.
After my computer screwed up about 15 minutes in.. I think I will just lead it into that. Get me some creditable sources that are truly non partisan before these claims are made. I will close out again by saying, everybody has an opinion and nobody will be happy with every decision.
BTW Hey Alex.. Gunna play Killzone again sometime :D

I'm 100% positive we would be seeing a film just like this one about McCain if he were elected, why? Because every president has some skeleton's in the closet. They are being driven by the global elite and each and every one of them is just as big a crook as the next!
While I don't agree much with his comment in the way of "it didn't affect us" ... KRS-ONE is a very bright and knowledgable person. He has been a major influence in the Hip-Hop culture for years and has a huge following. I don't agree that 9-11 didn't affect them (the Hip-Hop world/culture) because it did ... it affects everyone, even if you weren't in the immediate area. I do agree however with the part about the profiling and anyone that doesn't believe that it happens on a daily basis still to this day is blind.
Not going to bash you here, but this is my major beef with the nay sayers on films like this. They watch the first 15-20 minutes for whatever reason and then completely discredit EVERYTHING in the film. Sure there may be some stuff put into these films that is not 100% true all the time, but IMO the stuff that is a 100% true greatly outweighs the stuff that is not.

A little off-topic I guess. But I'm just going the comment on KRS-one or whatever the **** he calls himself. Some say he is "bright" but he seems like a complete ignorant moron. To say he is glad that people were killed? I wonder if he knows that children were killed? Is that justice? That young kids were killed by a "cheap-shot"? Of course "they" cheered.
Sorry to get a bit angered, but I cant stand idiots in this world.

Hey jermz,
I agree and think I followed up with your first part later. There would be a film on McCain if he was president. But the last part is something I have to disagree with you on. I would have watched more but accidently hit the back button on my laptop to lose the footage.
Just like any other movie of any kind.. If the first few minutes suck what are the odds that people are going to watch it. I personally have a tough time in keeping interest in a movie which has a narrator who tells lies. He starts off by saying its non partisan movie when 2 of the first 3 interviewed seemed to be true republicans to me.
