    Playoffs are far different than the regular season...yes, they had the whole regular season together, but the playoffs are a totally different atmosphere, totally different game setting, plus you play the same team a minimum of 4 games in a row - something they had never done together.

    Regardless of whether you think it's a poor excuse or not, they won - when all was said and done, they won the series and the championship...that's all that matters.

    I never made an excuse - I simply said that non-Celtics fans bring up all sorts of stuff about the Celtics woes (or lack there of) from last year, when in all reality, it was very, very impressive considering they had been a team for a whole 10 months.
