Nice win for Boston tonight. Great game both ways but are the late hits by Montreal after that 3rd goal and after the game is done really called for? Way to ruin a good game with nonsense.

Dang...both my teams looked bad in their first games. Canes had no offense, and Columbus...they just looked tied the second half of the game.

Giguere has now become the back up goalie due to his performance this year to put it nicely

Hiller played almost the last 15 games and to be polite , Giguere has been terrible since the start of the year. In fact , Giguere is the reason why they almost missed the playoffs but Hiller ( and Ryan being called up ) saved their season.

Just like i said yesterday before the California Battle , Ducks defense can shut down any teams in this league and that's what they did in Game 1. I still think the Sharks are gonna win but it will be a long war ( 7 games ).
