    Lucic suspended for 1

As expected for the blatant cross-check to the head.

Well, most Habs fans will say it's not enough; most Bruins fans will say it didn't merit a suspension at all -- this is likely a sign that the NHL got it right.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

    What is right anyways?

Like you said most Habs fans will complain, Boston fans will complain, but that's partially the leagues fault. There is nothing to look at historically, we can't look at past suspensions to make an assessment because the league doesn't even know what they're doing.

One guy gets suspended for 7 games for slandering another guy's girlfriend and on the other hand you've got guys taking blatant headshots and going for one or two games. It's as if they throw numbers in a hat and shake it up, there's no pattern.

When will they draw the line?

When they pull their heads from the deep recesses of their butts and start listening to the players and handing out punishment that makes sense and fits the act. So..........never.

during game one of tha Flames and Hawks Cammalleri gave Havlet a forearm to the face. Here is what was written about it.

NHL chief of discipline Colin Campbell's decision not to suspend Flames winger Mike Cammalleri for his forearm to Martin Havlat's head in the third period of Game 1 makes no sense.
In his statement, Campbell said it was punishment enough for Cammalleri to go to the penalty box for two minutes for high sticking in a game that was tied 1-1 - that there were ramifications for his actions, meaning the Hawks could have scored a key power-play goal.
    But they didn't.
What kind of thinking is that?
A blow to the head is a blow to the head. And this was premeditated. Please spare me, NHL, the next time you talk about wanting to eliminate head shots from the game.
Campbell said the reason he suspended Philly's Daniel Carcillo for a hit in Game 1 against Pittsburgh was that it occured in the waning seconds of a 4-1 Penguins win and there were no "ramifications" for Carcillo at that point.
You've got to love this league sometimes.

this was in the daily Herald written by the reporter that covers the Hawks
