    mhmm. thanks. any thoughts?

My main thought is that you should quit paying anywhere near book value for cards.

As a corollary, why would you expect for anyone to pay BV, much less over BV, for a patch card of three current players just because you did? Sounds like you are a little upset at the fact that these other members are being a little bit more saavy in their negotiations than you were. If you really need to sell it--take what you can get for it, move on, and write this off as a bad experience. Otherwise, hold onto the card and hope it goes up in a couple of years.

Nevertheless, if you are stressing because you are "$67 in debt", trying to speculate and flip common patch cards for profit in this economy may not be the wisest move.

so what are you upset about exactly? that people don't like the price your setting on your card? maybe that means you should lower your price...they are not wrong, you are

Trust me dude, I understand--I have been, and will continue to be, sucked in on impulse buys, only to have buyer's remorse immediately afterwards. Wasn't trying to harass you, I think you just made a hasty decision in posting your feelings concerning other people's spending habits.

If you like the players and the patches on the card, and you don't really need the money, hold onto to the card. Who knows, several years down the line, you may be able to get double what you paid for it. If not, at least you have a story to tell.

right now, the card industry is a buyers market. Buyers, more than sellers, can set the price, because everyone knows how rough the economy is. as has been advised, if you dont like the offers you are getting, either sell for cheaper (which it doesnt seem like you want to do) or keep the card for now. Whining about how people wont pay what you want isnt going to get you anywhere

First of all, anyone ever heard of hyberbole? I love SCF and would never think anyone would intentionally harass someone else her. nuff said.

but can we close this though? its pointless and im done getting complaints about my "whining". technically, i can do what i want on here that is within the TOS or whatever you guys call it, and i'm sure "whining" is never actually stated.

    i rest my case.

    thread... dead.
