Thanks Rocket....
I'd like to get $30. The "market" [-edited RGM] value is only $50, but i think for a mason /99 $30 is reasonableLast edited by RGM81; 04-22-2009 at 07:31 AM. Reason: You can't say that name :)

Sell it now and sell it fast. After tomorrow night, Mason's hobby love will crash.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Absolutely not. Steve Mason is in list for the Calder Trophy, Vezina Trophy and Hart Trophy.

Awards matter little. At this time of year, it's all about what happens on the ice. Price was the hottest thing imaginable last year - within 24 hours of the Habs getting knocked out of the playoffs, you could get his stuff for 20%-30% less than you could while they were alive. Kane won the Calder - still dropped off significantly.
People right now are flocking to Jonas Hiller and Simeon Varlamov because they are winning.

It is more about how Carey Price played so bad in the playoffs against Philadelphia, and now this year with stories outside the rink. With a good amount of money, things will be solved for Carey Price. For Chris Higgins and the Kostitsyns, it could be more problematic.
The summer is always a good season for collectors to buy at low cost, especially with the actual economic situation. The only problem for canadians is the currency exchange that could be worst this summer. Jonas Hiller is 27 years old, people won't pay high for his cards. Simeon Varlamov will get some hype over the next year. You will see the best RC and inserts cards of Steve Mason in The Cup in the $1000-2000 range over the next months. A Steve Mason with Calder + Vezina/Hart will gain in popularity for sure comparatively to actual value.Last edited by roy.the.greatest; 04-22-2009 at 09:47 AM.
