08-09 Finest RC Redemption, what happened?

My 3 cards from Topps came in today. Nothing spectacular, a Blue REF DJ White #'d /199 and a Javalee Mcgee base.
My third card was a Blue REF Walter Sharpe #'d /199 but I was supposed to receive the 24th Draft Pick Serge Ibaka.
Topps wrote since Serge Ibaka didnt sign a contract with a NBA team they sent me the next highest draft pick Walter Sharpe, the 32nd draft pick.
Now wait the next highest draft pick after the 24th is the 32nd pick???
Makes no sense. The 25th pick was Nicolas Batum, and 26th pick was George Hill. 2 players way better than Walter Sharpe.
Did they send Sharpe just to make me PO'd? Should I call and ask if they have similar Batum's or Hill's available?

That's odd. I also pulled and sent in an Ibaka redemption, but my replacement hasn't come in yet. Might as well call them and see why the Sharpe was given when he was actually 8 picks after Ibaka, not the "next" pick.

Its the next pick produced by them as the replacement for Ibaka, there are actually redemptions out there for picks 25-30, pick 31 was Nikola Pekovic who also didnt sign a contract, so Walter Sharpe is the next one in line

Its the same way they've done it for years
