BTW, the checklist is brutally thin. I hope they didn't make a lot of this stuff as the odds for hitting good pieces are slim to none.

BTW, Ovechkin is noticeably absent again from autographed issues....................

I think they made the checklist thin in order to weed out some of the scrubs that you often find in these releases that infuriate people to no end. A while back I saw a guy crack open two packs of this - he got Patrick Thoresen in both of them and it was the proverbial kick to the groin overall. With fewer autos, featuring almost everybody you'd want to see (except, as you noted, Ovechkin) in them rather than a bunch of third-liners and one-game rookies.

It sounds like you're referring to the Ultimate Sigs subset in particular. If that is the case, then yes, while small, that checklist is solid. It could have been perfect if they left out Fabian Brunnstrom and Brian Lee. Really, go look at it, those dudes have no business being in there with the others and you could argue the same for a few of the other rookies as well. But they did a good job on that subset nonetheless.

I was just saying the product as whole has a thin checklist. That said, if they produced a lot less of this (which I fear is NOT the case seeing the print runs on the rookies) then the hits will be much improved.

Well I have two shields to chase, one of them is Gerbe's first shield. Also Gerbe's first auto RC. Only Gerbe patch is the auto/patch /25. Vaneks 2 other cards are base and Premium patch /25.

Yeah, but like all of UD's products, I'm sure this checklist was made in the fall.... before anyone expected Mason to be such a hit. He hasn't been in the top tier of any product this season, has he?

nope. well except SPA where everyone is in the top tier.
