Congrats to all... I was reading the list to see where courtney lee was and noticed that Robin Lopez got 1 first place vote and thats it lol Who would give him a first place vote over Rose, Mayo and westbrook..
Other players receiving votes, with point totals (first place votes in parentheses): Courtney Lee, Orlando, 12; Jason Thompson, Sacramento, 7; Marreese Speights, Philadelphia, 3; Greg Oden, Portland, 3 (1); Robin Lopez, Phoenix, 2 (1)

Is anyone ready to give Greg Oden the "bust" tag yet? Just curious.

It's only been two years since he was drafted, and he's only 21. Give him a few more seasons at least.

Not surprising...what is surprising, though, is a few different things:
1) 6 players on the 2nd team...don't see that too often!
2) Brook Lopez wasn't voted for either team by 1 person (28 total votes out of 29 voters)
3) Michael Beasley wasn't voted for either team by 2 people (27 total votes out of 29 voters)
4) Oden and Robin Lopez each received one first place vote...someone voted for one of them over one of the 5 on the first team? Bizarre!
Overall, this isn't much of a surprise - at least the majority got it right!

Nope, not at all...he had too high expectations given to him by the media, calling him the next Wilt or Russell...if everyone could just forget about that, he has had semi-decent numbers - not quality of a #1 pick (yet), but he definitely has time to improve.

Very nice teams right there. I really like this draft class and they can do something exciting in the future.

I'm not really sure what category he falls within for me personally. The comparison that really sticks out to me is the productiondifferences between him and Durant. Where would Portland be right now, if they would have drafted Durant instead of Oden?
I am patient enought to watch him develop, but i know that the #1 pick coming up in the 09-10 Draft would be burned at the stake, and ridiculed if he were to have Oden type production in his first 2 seasons. (-1 for injury) just curious as to why some players have huge ceilings of expectation, yet some deliver and some dont.
