that goes back to the adage that every # is a 1/1. i see paying a small premium but this is insane. probably was two people who really liked randolph bidding or more than likely one person who likes him and a shill bidder.

I think its more an indication of how out of touch beckett is...

If someone is willing to pay $200 for it, then thats what its "worth", Beckett says its worth $40, where do they get that number?

thats the thing. you can pick up and three color patches in the 20-30 range. its just a fluke

Those Randolph 3 color patches have sold from $45-$70 in the past month. That one is that high because it's numbered 4/499. His jersey number is that, so therefore this a one of a kind card, which in turn makes it sell at a premium.

i'm not actually mad at the auction, it's just a stupid price to pay. thats my opinion i'm entitled to it my friend. it's the same thing with box breaks. why get excited when someone else hits a sick card, it's not your card or your money. it's just natural to have an opinion and express it

I understand that, but no need to put it all in caps and say BS. to me that just shows that someones mad but i understand you.

Collectors go ALL OUT for jersey numbered cards... they treat them as a 1/1

Bash the auction for claiming a 1/1, but fall back on bashing Randolph son.

Who still follows BV on eBay anyway? That's pretty foolish IMO.
