1992 Score Bobby Orr Auto..is it Real???

    Okay,

I purchased an entire collection from a member of this board today which included the famous Bobby Orr 1992 Score Autograph Card....My Questions is; how do I know this one is real or if someone just had the regular card signed or even forged.

    Your oppinions would be valued.

    Thank You

    Dom

Any signature with no authentification is always hard to get back a good value. Bobby Orr sign many cards these days and those are authenticated by UD. So one thing you can do is to compare it to see if it look real.

I have this card of him and if you look at each letter, the sig seem legit. B is incline left. the O follow the patern. The 2 B are somewhat similar but mine don;t have the bottom correction and look like more like letter L. Then the Y is similar so is the Orr part.

I had this card back in 92, and sold it. It looks like you have the real deal, but Something tells me that some cards were signed on the back as well.
You can't gaurantee an auto from this time because of the production run, but this looks like what I had.

You might want to get it Authenticated. As that would help you alleviate the problem of unloading it in the future. Just a thought on that front.

The Pack pulled Score autos were signed and numbered on the back only. That's and IP auto of some sort.

Well I sent the card to Beckett and I just got a reply that my cards had shipped, I looked at the grading report and it says "Service Unavailable" so looks like they were not able to authenticate it....the mystery continues...
