The only organized part of my collection is my Star Wars Decipher CCG cards.

I printed a 10 page checklist and I checked little boxes of any cards I have (they don't have numbers or sets, only side and types). They're in boxes with sleeves on and sometimes top loaders.

My other cards are all messed up in 'I like' (having sleeves and sometimes top loaders) or 'commons and anything else' boxes.

It may seem odd, but I played once with a little deck of Star Wars, otherwise I simply collect them. hehe.

I have a monster box for each of the 4 teams I collect. My PC cards are stored in a separate box and are scanned and added to my bucket as they come in. Everything else get's sold instantly, or in the case of base cards, get tossed in the trash.

I'm now up to 16 large 5-tray card boxes that I keep my rtraders in and then two more, for my PC.

Unfortunately, I also have a stack of about 300 cards that have been inventoried, but not placed into the box with that players' other cards.

As for baseball and football, which I've gotten from buying other collections? Forget it - They're stuffed into 600-count boxes by team.

Yeah, really. Or better still, donate them to the site so it can auction them off and make some money to cover its expenses.

"How do you inventory..." What's that? I collect sets. When I get a stack of them, I put them in pages and put the pages in binders and then make a list of the ones I don't have, crossing off the numbers of the ones I get when I get them.

Duplicates are sorted in numerical order and take up residence in a box until someone needs one of them.

    Simple.
