And the Gemini — that’s the Canadian Emmy — for costume design goes to … The Don Cherry Story.
Yes, the CBC’s latest hockey-related project is a two-part TV movie on the life of Grapes, written by his son, Tim. Shooting is expected to start this summer.
“We’re trying to find out if Brad Pitt can play the leading role,” Cherry said, making that old joke for the Toronto Star. “Maybe George Clooney could play me in the later years.”

it is to be shooting in winnipeg not to sure when i know someone that is giving them a bunch of older hockey stuff like skates helmet pads and stuff like that and his son might be in the movie aswell that would be cool

It's actually being shot in Brandon, or part of it anyways and I may also be a extra in the movie

well if I get to be in part of the movie as a extra then it probably won't be very good (the extra role i'm looking to play is a extra hockey player)
