Wings now have a 2-0 series lead. I would say the Hawks fans are suffering.

how can u even say that? have u looked at the Hawks team? try drafting better players makes NO sense at all.

seems to me like they they have made some great draft choices.

im a hawks fan and i am suffering from all the stupid turnovers the Hawks are making. Everytime the hawks have good pressure in the offensive zone, they make a stupid turnover and the wings end up scoring it.

and IMO im not likin some of these stupid calls (although im a hawks fan so ill admit im probly being Biased, unlike some other perople that dont think they are being biased)

for example- the Byfuglien Goalie interference call, he got pushed into the goalie by a wing, then osgood grabbed on to Byfugliens leg and he couldnt get away from him, then he gets a penalty for interfernce? although they did call a holding call on osgood as well, that still should not have been iinterference IMO.

there are also a couple others i saw like Burish getting high sticked no call, and Byfuglien stick getting slashed in half while they were going for the icing.

but again.. im just biased, im curious to know what u guys think were bad calls AGAINST the Wings that im not seeing.

michiganice91 will say that every call against Detroit was a bad call.

You are right about the Byfuglien interference he was pushed into Osgood and that slash happened right in front of the ref. I also thought when Sharp and their D-man ran into each other the wings player took him down

Oh well what can you do. No calls go both ways.

was it not just a few days ago that Jiri Hudler was cross checked into Jonas Hiller resulting in a Powerplay for the Ducks. This stuff happens to us to. At least you guys got lucky and got a coincidental out of it. And no not all the calls were bad. The 2 calls on Lidstrom were correct as well as the goalie interference on holmstrom (although Khabibulin may have touched homer). I dont remember the other calls.

actually it does make sense. The red wings havent had a pick in the top half of the first round since probably Steve Yzerman. The wings get much better players than the hawks in much later rounds. Jon Ericsson was taken last...could the hawks not have taken him??? Zetterberg was a 3rd rounder I believe. And Datsyuk wasnt a first rounder either. The wings have better scouting and drafting than anyone else in the league. How is this a farfetched statement???

Not going to argue there. The true test in the upcoming future FOR ALL teams will be how long they can hold a good team together while keeping under the cap.

    Times are a changing.
