I had all four of mine removed at once when I was seventeen; it was awful. You have all my sympathy.

I had mines pulled a couple of years ago...the lower ones 1st and the upper ones the following year. The lower ones were more painful...a couple of Vicodin helped...the upper ones were easy..didn't really feel it when they came out and Vicodin was not needed.

yeah i think that's common. They only spent about 5 mins on my upper tooth, but the bottom tooth took at least half an hour. They told me it's because they had to cut the flash at the bottom in order to remove it, and that was the wound that required stitches.
It seems that alot of people had all four wisdom teeth removed at once. I thought about it at first but decided against it..and boy was it the right decision. If I had all four taken out at once, I wouldn't imagine how I would be able to eat anything at all, on top of all the pain.

During this april vacation they gave me some gas and took all 4 out. Contrary to what everyone told me, I never experienced pain and didn't touch the vicodin they gave me. I bleed the first day for a little bit but nothing after that and my cheeks were never swollen. And I did everything normally, the only thing that ****** me off was that I couldn't eat any food with substance for a couple days. If you saw how many nice big steaks and chicken I eat you would feel my pain.

lol no...they only put some anesthesia inside my mouth (on the right side where the wisdom teeth are)..so you feel really numb and don't feel much pain. But trust me..I was wide awake and I still felt pain.
really? I've never heard or seen that kind of method..sure sounds alot better than what I went through..and please don't talk about big juicy steaks and chicken..I'm already hungry from not being able to eat anything..and it's only the first day lol.

Yeah I think I'm getting mine out this summer but I thought they usually put you to sleep when they remove them.

I only had 3 somehow but when I got them out I guess I got lucky and it wasn't bad at all. The bleeding basically stopped by the time I left the office and I wasn't really in much pain or anything after the fact
