i'd like to thank johan franzen and his not being elite NOR clutch for going into overtime. under 20 in a tied game, goalie on your stomach, no one on you and you cant score. great series by the wings but you gotta think how different it could have been with khabby not hurt. grats wings.

lol...Huet played a great game. Franzen is still elite...no doubt.

ah i see. cause elite players basically have open nets to win games and cant score? thanks for clarifying.

really the hawks are young. they said half the roster is under 25. this team is scary good. i cant wait to see the day the hawks and kings are in the western conference finals.

lol...IDK what you're watching...but the net was not wide open. Huet elevated his leg pad and cut down the angle, so the puck was too close for franzen to get the puck up.

As for kings and hawks...you'll be dead when that one happens.

sure buddy sure. and wow you know how wide an nhl regulation goalie pad is? 11 inches. you know how big a net is? 4 feet by 6 feet. yeah that pad made it an impossible shot. not going to argue with you anymore.

doesnt matter how wide the pad is when the puck is 5 inches in front of it...it's all about angles. Arent you a goalie...??

He waited a tad too long to shoot. When you get the puck off a 360 spinaraound..it takes a second to look where to shoot. When he got the puck the net was open..and when he shot, huet put the pad up. Every announcer says great save Huet. Not a single one says bad shot Franzen.

Anyways...do you play for a team or what. LA Selects...California Wave?? Both teams were pretty decent in my age group (91's). BTW do you know where your going to school next year? Im going to try to play for the Washington Huskies Club Team.

Yeah I hear ya on the politics. I was all set to play on the Richmond Hills Stars AAA (OMHA - Toronto) Midget team...and of course I was the same position as the coaches kid...and his friend who carpools him to hockey. And theres always that can-am love you know...?

well my story is the team i played for...california north stars (cns) had a coach who were bitter rivals with the jr sharks. basically the sharks hated him and refused to ever play us unless it was a league game and thats why i've never played there. the sharks take their home grown players over the better players that played for the north stars
