    Anyone else impressed with Panini???

Every box seems to have the right # of hits, every hit I get is in PRISTINE condition, the rcs are great in the boxes as are the selection of hits, reasonable prices, and they kept 99.9% of the donruss designs the same

    GO PANINI!

I haven't bought any Panini cards yet, but I'm impressed so far with the way they've handled taking over a very well known brand. They seemed to seek out input from collectors instead of just swooping in and imposing their will. I am, like you, happy to see they didn't ditch the DLP designs and go with something less appealing...DLP always had my favorite cards. I'm excited to see Elite and Classics, as those are always two of my favorite brands.

One thing I don't like so far is on the Prestige Xtra Points, they just added some color and didn't do the foil covering...makes it seem like a cheap, cost saving short cut.

I agree, I was really disapointed with the XP cards this year. The game used are just as good as ever.

I really like them as well - I don't like the yellow logo on the back though!

I'm going to reserve judgement for now, I haven't purchased any of the new products, but what I've seen looks fine. I'd like to see how they handle Absolute, Contenders, and National Treasures.

agree too hard to tell right now, but prestige looks like a notch above where it was last year.

Like they said still hard to tell. Wait till bigger products come out such as contenders ! Also one thing i dont like about panini is how the inserts arent #ed ? Like the league leaders and draft card and those ..... why arent they #Ed ? Xps are and prestigous picks just why not the others ?
