Playoffs Predictions: Stanley Cup Final!

Everyone in Detroit...and a lot of people around the league call him cindy. Its our way of letting him know that he can have all the spotlight...but he can never lay his hands on that stanley cup. It has nothing to do with trying to insult women...it's trying to insult him.

As for the minors...I do believe he would be playing in grand rapids. The red wings haven't played a rookie since Jiri Fischer I believe. They may bring him up in the playoffs due to injury like they do with helm and abdelkader, but he would never play ahead of the veterans on the team. They would not have room for him, and he would definitely play in the minors for a few years.

By calling him cindy its saying that he acts like a little girl (not a woman) when he's out there. When you see Darren Helm and Jon Ericsson and Abdelkader all in Grand rapids multiple years before coming to the wings why would you think they would give Crosby a special pass right to the NHL. The fact is they wouldnt...and even if you think differently..its true. Even Datsyuk and Zetterberg spent 3 years each in Europe after they were drafted to develop before coming to the wings. I cant ask ken holland directly...but If crosby came to the wings they would have to overhaul his game and teach him how to play proper defense...and use the wings system...not just run and gun and do it all yourself. At this point he'd be either a 3rd or 4th liner on the wings if they even had room, and then eventually he might move up. But the wings would have almost certainly sent him back to play in the Q or a few years in grand rapids if they had drafted him directly.

Ok to even compare Abdelkader, Helm, and Ericsson to Crosby is nuts. I'm not a Crosby fan and everyone knows this, but you have to be seriously joking when saying stuff like this. And Datsyuk and Zetterberg are probably considered "late bloomers" which is why they were most likely drafted later then most of the other top players in the league.

And now for the whole Cindy thing, it doesn't matter if it was meant to be degrading to woman by calling Crosby "Cindy" but the fact of the matter is the woman are finding it degrading and are insulting the woman that we have on these boards so i'll ask you to please stop and refrain from using that nickname in the future.

And this has to be a joke right? Crosby a 3rd or 4th liner? Theres a line between being a diehard fan and being ignorant and you're on the ignorant side.
