Lakers versus Magic. Boo-yah

Seriously though, this matchup will present a point of reference for future arguments about who's better between Kobe and LeBron (you know, the kind of argument that makes up 99% of all basketball-related discussion). If the Lakers win, it'll be clear evidence that Kobe is better, because Kobe smacked up Dwight and Dwight smacked up LeBron. Unless of course, the Cavs beat the Lakers in the 09-10 finals, in which case we'll have rock-paper-scissors on our hands. If the Magic win, the Kobe fans and LeBron fans will still be eternally at each other's throats. But one thing will be for sure: Dwight fans will be able shut them all up. Then maybe I can make a new signature banner for myself.

But isnt it about time the Magic got rid of Dwight Howard? haha. Seems to be a trend, you know.

well..you cant really base whose better between bron and kobe on the series..i am a cavs fan and i believe lebron is a better player than kobe all around not as a shooter.the only reason magic won was they have a better team all around.dwight did not smack up lebron

I'm not a fan of the Magic, especially since they beat the Celtics in the playoffs, but I do like Dwight Howard, and I HATE the Lakers.....


therefore for the next few weeks, I'm a huge Magic fan :D

Orlando and L.A. are both teams that rely on having lots of weapons, which is the reason they both consistently performed well against Cleveland, whose strategy was just to be the ultimate one-man show. Pietrus is probably feeling like Sisyphus right now: first guard LeBron, then guard Kobe. Dwight should be able to stomp Gasol up and down the court. And Kobe is Kobe. I'm going to call this one for the Magic in 7.

Yeah i think it's going to be even, but you have the Lakers winning two straight in Orlando and then the Magic winning 3 in Los Angeles, 2 at the end. Idk i just can't see it like that. Maybe if the magic were up 3-2 coming back to LA then i could see the Magic win one of the LA games.

I think the Lakers will take this in five, but I am hoping for a competitive, well-played series. I am not a fan of either team, but would slightly prefer Orlando winning.
