Dan, you've gotta step back a second here. If James is overrated, it's only because people say he's the greatest player ever. He's a remarkable player, and it's between him and Kobe for best in the league right now. I don't particularly like either guy, but there's nobody better than those two right now. With the terrible supporting cast and one of the worst head coaches in any sport, you can't blame the loss on him. If they ran a play in a close game besides "everyone stare at LeBron and hope he doesn't pass the ball", they'd be a better team...and if he had anyone even remotely as good as Gasol, they probably would have won the series. He carried a crappy team to the Conference Finals, so he obviously can carry a team...and a coach.

I love Wade, and I'd rather have him on the Knicks because I want to root for him, but he's no LeBron.

taking the opposite view, how did he carry them, coach of the year and had another all-star on his own team
I'll take DWade everyday
Is he close to as good or ever will be like MJ, no everyone says it though, therefore overrated

Youve got to be kidding me Dan.... He has put the team on his back the last 3 years in the playoffs and came up a little short each time. He has a bad supporting cast and still manages to make it a good series and comes up a little short. You give him Pau, Shaq, Garnett, someone like that and he would have a ring right now.
You would take D-Wade yet who was still in the playoffs as of this weekend? If its all about winning why couldnt the Heat move on? I know he has a ring but he had this little thing called Shaq which you cannot prove in any sort Lebron has anyone CLOSE to as talented as Shaq is.

The heat never won 66 games when they had Shaq and Wade though...

I agree but i think we all can agree the NBA regular season is a joke anyways. Plus I am sure more people remember Jordan for his rings than winning the most games in a regular season
