I don't think the kids even care. He is still going to be their role model and hero. He is still going to be a great player. This is just something that people are making a big deal out of it and that's about it

Still he is going to be their role model. People don't even care. People are going to forget about this and then he is good to go. I would have not do that, but I am not going to judge him for this thing

they're not going to forget this if he continues it, proving he's a good guy when everything is going good for him but a pouty sore person when things don't work out for him.

Like I said before...I honestly doubt that ANY kid that looks up to Lebron is going to walk off the court or field after a game now just because he did it. Based on your logic, I guess all of the kids that are Pistons and Pacer fans get into fights and jump into the stands to fight spectators after hard fouls right? They saw their idols doing it, so that automatically means the kids wills do it according to you.

dude it was a pacer and artest is no one's idol. So don't compare that to this because Artest is no role model.

Every pro athlete has kids that look up to them...I looked up to Dajuan Wagner when he was on the Cavs, I used to wear number 2 when I played YMCA basketball because I wanted to be like Dajuan, and he isn't a superstar.

that is completely false and i'm assuming you dont know what happened?
first it was a hard foul, Artest lies down on the announce table or something to keep his composure, then a fan throws a drink right on him (on purpose) which is when ONLY he and Stephen Jackson go into the fans..no one else went in there! acceptable no, but since then has Artest done that again, no..i like him as a player but that one incident crippled his image..
If James does this again what will the excuse be? he is a big baby, cant handle losing and isnt a true man in my opinion because of a lack of sportsmanship..
we all get made when we lose, but respecting the other team is the right thing to do

that is true, I know that there is a guy on here claiming to be Dennis Rodman's #1 fan, don't know if he's copied the actions of Dennis, certainly hope he hasn't tried on a wedding gown before
I can be included as well, my favorite player to collect out of all sports is Donald Brashear who for the most part is one of the fighting goons in hockey. But the fact is his role in hockey is accepted, while the going into the stands to fight fans as well as not checking your ego and congratulating a team that played better than yours in not which is why it is rubbing people the wrong way and why the commissioner wants to talk to him about his actions. Being the MVP he needs to conduct himself even more so with class on the court than off of it
