that is completely false and i'm assuming you dont know what happened?

first it was a hard foul, Artest lies down on the announce table or something to keep his composure, then a fan throws a drink right on him (on purpose) which is when ONLY he and Stephen Jackson go into the fans..no one else went in there! acceptable no, but since then has Artest done that again, no..i like him as a player but that one incident crippled his image..

If James does this again what will the excuse be? he is a big baby, cant handle losing and isnt a true man in my opinion because of a lack of sportsmanship..

we all get made when we lose, but respecting the other team is the right thing to do

Like I said dude...it is based on your logic. I'll use a different player, like Ray Allen. Do all the kids that look up to Ray Allen elbow others in the package during games because he did it? Probably not. Will all of the kids that look up to Lebron stop shaking hands with the other team after a loss? Probably not. That is the point I'm trying to make.

I'm not saying that what Lebron did wasn't unsportsmanlike, but people are making too big a deal out of it, and the kids looking up to him excuse just isn't that strong.

So you're saying that just as many kids look up to LeBron as Ray Allen? That's just ridiculous. He's the face of the league and at the end of the day, he needs to represent the entire NBA.

I never said that..read my post. I asked if those kids that look up to Ray Allen do that, and Ray Allen probably has quite a few kids that look up to him, there are a bunch of kids where I live that look up to him since he grew up here. This has nothing to do with how popular you are, if your a pro athlete, your a role model and kids look up to you. I understand that Lebron is one of the best players, therefore, he should always show sportsmanship since his every move is watched and reflects the NBA, but that doesn't mean that everyone besides Kobe and Lebron have an excuse to not show sportsmanship.

The impression I'm getting from you guys is that Lebron is obligated to show sportsmanship, but all of the mediocre and scrub players don't have to because they aren't as popular. So I guess if Sasha Pavlovic had been the only Cavalier that walked off the court after the game, he would have been allowed to since he isn't a nationally recognized player? Sounds pretty stupid to me, because like I said...every player has someone that looks up to them. Sasha gets probably an average of 6 minutes a game, but he is popular with the fans because of his community work, especially with the kids. But let me guess...you guys will tell me that it wouldn't matter and have some other bull excuse right?

No, he just needs to man up and realize the other team was better. How many other teams had to shake LeBrons hand after losing to them. Its nice to see LeBron be disrespectful to teams that beat his team.
