Colts Mini-Camp Autographs!!!!
The Colts held an open practice for mini camp at Franklin College south of Indy today. My dad, my son, and I went to see what we could get. He's collecting autographs on a ball that will be donated to charity later. I collected some of us. It was kind of a free for all, all the players spread out to the fans that were behind ropes around about half the stadium so it was pot luck on who came to your section.
Peyton didn't come...but the guy I'm focusing on this year did..DONALD BROWN.
Got him and some other guys on this mini helmet...

After a bit, Anthony Gonzalez came along the sideline. I remembered to bring my 8x10s this time, so I got this...

And finally with about 2 minutes left before they were supposed to stop and start practice, my dad noticed Curtis Painter was still signing (GREAT GUY BTW) My mini helmet was full, but luckily I had...

And then I got to watch practice. I know I'm focused on Donald Brown, but after today I have to add someone else....AUSTIN COLLIE. He caught balls with outstretched fingers, jump balls in the air, and an amazing diving catch where he tipped it and caught it off the tip.
He's the real deal and was playing with the first string offense a lot. I'll have to get him and Brown now. :) Thanks for looking!

NICE...He's one I'm definitely hoping to get on our charity ball sometime during training camp, but I'm excited at the boost Brown and Gonzalez on our ball will give us. Have fun!!
Thanks for the word RoseBull & tiki.
Tiki - Check the calendar on the colts website, I know there are some fanfests coming up that will have some player appearances.

I hear you there. They announced today that this was only the 2nd time they've ever had an open mini camp practice. I don't even remember the 1st. There are a lot of guys on the team that are great about autographs, but the Colts usually hide them away from the public. It's great they are opening up to the fans more.

I wonder if they'll do the same thing at camp again. On one hand, it's nice they have the tent and you know you'll get 6 guys' autos. But that's usually it. No one else ever signs because they jet them away on carts, though Gary Brackett is always great about coming and signing. You just have to get lucky and get the day that one of the 6 is a big name. I hope it's more fan friendly like this mini camp was.
