Larionov, Bure, and Fedorov are at the top, but when its all said and done OV for sure, Malkin, Datsyuk will be up there too. Why is Malkin on there twice???

I can edit this nd put Pavel in and adjust the votes he got out if you want....lmk

that would be nice, thank you

i just loled at YOU questioning someones hockey knowledge.

Well I have been skating and playing hockey since I was 2, and watching hockey on TV since I was about 5. Ive been to 6 or 7 different NHL arena's, saw the avs win the cup live, been to the hockey hall, and referee. If that doesn't qualify for hockey knowledge I don't know what does.

And I'm sorry, but when someone laughs at Igor Larionov being a top russian player...that just shows a lack of knowledge about the game IN MY OPINION.

They didn't call the Igor the Professor for anything. If he had played all his time in the NHL who knows what his stats would have looked like. As he spent more 10 years playing for Russia.

Igor was definately a good ambassador for all Russians in the NHL, then and now. Imagine tho IF, big if, Kharlamov ever got to play in the NHL

How come he did not get too? Just wondering not to sure on him as I know Markarov, Festiov, and the one other did to varying degrees of success.

It is so close between Ovechkin and Malkin for me but I'll vote for Ovechkin.

Im a little surprised at all the votes for Ovechkin. I know his stats are superb. But only 4 years in the league, and he's never even been to a conference final, and we're all ready to call him the best Russian ever? I guess we have some serious expectations in the future.

So many if's! That's why he shouldn't even be on this list of high performance players. Kovalchuk has more talent than Larionov

Ovechkin is the total package..he scores, he back checks, he hits and he is vey enthusiastic...loves what he does. While I think he goes over the top sometimes, you can't help but like his game. If he was Canadian..his already hobby love, would be thru the roof...far above that of Crosby or Price. He is a True Power Forward and then some.
