And you don’t think LA is going to make adjustments in later games? This was a very close game that could have gone either way, and a game where LA played very poorly. Orlando had a golden opportunity and blew it.

Howard needs to work on his post moves also. The Magic never got a run together because many times in the post the Lakers would knock the ball out his hands. When he was working the post well the Magic were getting ahead of the Lakers. Kobe has done well. If the Magic pull off a win somehow, it is going to be with Howard.

what about the crap goaltend he got away with in the beginning of the game on Gasol's dunk. Come on, he put his hand up through the net to block the dunk. NO CALL.

And also when Hedo knocked the ball out of bounds with like 43 seconds left and they said it hit Kobe's leg and gave the Magic the ball. Ridiculous call right there.

So, I still don't want to say that the series is over yet, but here are a few stats that I've gathered that relate to both teams, and shows how deep of a hole the Magic are in right now.
Lakers:
- As we all know, the Lakers have not lost 3 games in a row ever since getting Pau Gasol
- The Lakers have not lost 2 games in a row in these playoffs. Every lost that they've had, they bounce back and win the next game.
- The Lakers had the best road record in the league this season at 29-12 compared to Orlando's 27-14
- The Lakers also have the better road record in the playoffs at 4-4, compared to Orlando's 5-6
- The Lakers also have the better home record in these playoffs at 10-2, compared to Orlando's 7-3
Magic:
- As we have seen in these playoffs, the Magic have bounced back after every single lost, and when they go down by 1 game. But we have not seen how they will bounce back when they lose 2 straight, and go down by 2 games.
- As we have seen in the playoffs, the Magic respond well when the opposing team makes a buzzer-beater. But how will they respond to a messed buzzer-beater on there behalf?
Anyways, I just felt like sharing this, since i usually hate it when analyst try to bring in stats from previous finals, when really it has nothing to do with the current finals.Last edited by jeebus86; 06-08-2009 at 12:53 PM.

2-0 Lakers. I still stand by my 5 game Laker series win prediction. Orlando will take one at home and that's it, IMO.
