    I haven't ever used that program so I don't know what it's capable of. Is there a way you can smooth the edges of your highlights (sometimes called feathering)? If you could smooth the highlighted edges around the player, I think you'd be really happy with the change. It's subtle, but does make a nice difference.

    I was thinking the same thing. When you outline it, does it have a 'softness' option?

    Also, a transparent gradient or lower layer opacity on the stripes layer would probably be better for a signature, even if just in a particular area. Once again, not sure if gimp has those features.

    Regardless, nice designs.

    I couldn't find anything like that. The only thing that I have to smooth things out is the earser tool which doesn't help much.

    I tried lowering the opacity on the background, and it looked pretty bad. I think I might put in a shape for a sig box. Thanks for the suggestions and
