    Ricky Rubio staying in Spain?

ESPN is reporting that Ricky Rubio's father has said that he may stay in Spain for a few more years, prompting speculation that Minnesota may trade him. More speculation is that Rubio is unhappy with Minnesota selecting him, as he wants to play in a big market team. Local Minnesota media is speculating that the Knicks are pursuing Rubio's draft rights, among other teams.

This now makes more sense as to why the Wolves drafted 2 PGs back-to-back.

Men Rubio is becoming a diva hehehe..He hasn't even played a single NBA game and yet he already has big demands. He said he does'nt want to play for Memphis now Minnesota. Why can't he just prove his worth then make his demands.

That sucks, as he was one of the 'Wolves' coveted picks as well. It's very unfortunate to hear these incidents where young players complain about where they end up and refuse to sign with the team or demand trades so they would get a chance to play for a big market team. They should be happy that they are put in a place where they could make a greater impact instead of being put in the national spotlight all the time. Hopefully, the 'Wolves get something good in return if they were to trade him. If all else fails, he'll be sporting the Timberwolves jersey in a couple of years.

Like others are saying, that's why they drafted Flynn....well, if they KNEW this would happen, why didn't they shop the 5th pick and get something good for it? I don't understand the point of drafting a guy if you have a good feeling he won't even be on your team. Why not get something for him, as opposed to nothing?
