Trust me the Twolves knew that Rubio was not fond of playing MN if he didnt like Oklahoma City and Memphis im sure it be logical he didnt wanna play in MN either

I'm sure they suspected that, but without Rubio specifically saying that, nothing is guaranteed - that's why I think they took a chance drafting him, and drafted a backup option in Flynn. Stupid? Probably. But, was there a center worthy of being taken 5th or 6th? Heck no. Do they have other major needs aside from center or PG? No. That makes the most sense, to me at least.

ESPN is now officially reporting that the Knicks will pursue Ricky Rubio in a trade with the Timberwolves.

I'm assuming the Wolves will want Jordan Hill and if they can get a future first round pick then they come out the winners big time

That'd be nice, but I doubt the Knicks would go for that...they have a tendency of getting high draft picks

I'm sure it would be Lottery Protected (Isiah's not running the team anymore). Hill fits a need big time for them and they still have Flynn. Kahn may be an evil genius

Hill is just another PF though - we already have PFs in Big Al, Love, Rhino and Songaila...but, that doesn't mean that he wouldn't fit in - Big Al can stay a starting center for now, and Hill could come off the bench for Love....or, we could get David Lee from the Knicks...now THAT I wouldn't mind!

Forgot about Love but I think Hill would fit in. I think every team in the league would love to get a guy like Lee. He fits in everywhere. He is gonna cost a good bit though
