awesome pull from 2009 upper deck

i had planned on going to see the gf but she wasnt feeling good and i didnt want to stay home so i wandered over to the lhs in search of something to open. i almost did hockey, but figured i usually only get minor stars out of it, i thought about a topps jumbo but since im building the ud series 2 set and dont have much to work with, i bought a series two box. usually the autos are ok, but not really anyone i collect, but the numbered jerseys are pretty decent pulls this year, and the buybacks dont hurt either. wish they did that every year....hint hint....

anyway i worked through mostr of the box and only got two usa jsy cards and a usa jsy auto, so i figured i really got skunked on this box. i almost didnt open the last 4 packs because i figured all the hits were out of the box. but since i need the base cards to build the set, i opened them. on the 2nd to last pack i open it and see a loose penny sleeve. strange, i thought, there usually arent sleeves on base cards. so, pulling back the cards i find this card.... my new favorite pc card

Maybe I'm getting my years confused but isn't that a 1993 UD? The buyback card says 1992. Great pull by the way!

Nice! One of the employees at my local shop pulled the same card and turned down an ofer of $750 for it...now he's wishing he hadn't, lol. Anyway, GREAT pull.
