Von Wafer Unlikely to Return to Rockets
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...n/6510520.html
Wow, so this means that my two main player collections (Wafer and Big Baby) could be on the move. This really stinks.
Hopefully, Wafer signs with a contender. He really did provide a spark of the bench when McGrady was gone.

I sure hope Big Baby doesn't go anywhere...but, that's not what this thread is about...lol
Maybe Wafer will sign with your hometown Hornets? He could be a backup to Mo-Pete, or the starter if Mo starts stinking it up again.

That really would be interesting! Apparently Wafer is a good IP signer, so that would be cool. The Hornets actually traded for a Shooting Guard out of LSU on draft night named Marcus Thornton, who can be fairly explosive. The Hornets could use Wafer though. Maybe he's the spark off of the bench they need.

Apparently, Wafer wanted more than 3.5 million dollars per year.
He doesn't pass. He has potential to defend well. But he is the most selfish player on that team by far.
Plus his ego doesn't help his case. His little argument with coach Adelman probably caused the Rockets not pursuing him harder.
I'm fine with letting him go.

Isn't that who you were going to collect too?
