    Thumbs down Postage Rant

I know you all dont like this when it happen...so here is what happen to me today:

i received my package for a card i got on the bay and it has a folder saying a owe 58 cents.

i know 58 cents is not much, but i did pay 2.99 for shipping and all the seller (power seller) did was put a stamp on a bubble mailer and sent it out.

i paid .25 cents for the card and 2.99 for shipping for a total of 3.24.

what i did was e-mail the seller asking for half of the shipping fee back as a refund since i still have to pay for the shipping.

what do you all think i should have done? and what if the seller does not want to pay the half refund of the shpping cost?

i'd personally want more than .58 refunded getting charged $3 for shipping and he sends one stamp on a bubble mailer, and powersellers get there mailers in huge bulk i'm sure so he probably only paid $1 total (1.20ish if dc through paypal) and charged $3

Who cares what it cost him. You bid on an auction that clearly states a $2.99 shipping charge. You're planning to leave him negative feedback after the fact? C'mon. =/

Just get the $0.58 and leave it at that. If he refuses to refund that minimal amount back then I would say leave him neg feedback.

I would say a true collector......normally I'm pretty reserved when it comes to comments like yours, but really? Do you have to be that shallow?

    Let's keep this civil please.

And my advise would be to contact the seller and let him know that you owe 58-cents and really didn't appreciate the way the shipment was handled at his end.

I do not believe that Negative feedback is warranted.
