looking for this lost/stolen card
Card is not mine, just relaying a story I read elsewhere to have as many eyes out there as possible.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, I just went the PO to pick up a package that had to be signed for and got it home and opened up the box, only to notice the tape had been sliced and the box was completely empty! This was a card I was ANXIOUSLY awaiting to receive. So.... please keep an eye out for this if you are at card shows, shopping online, or whatever... It's from 07-08 OPC Premier Trios Signatures Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky, and Gordie Howe serial numbered 02/35.
I have just contacted the seller to get some more info about how he packaged it, etc. but until I hear back from him I thought I would put the word out on the street. I know there is a thread for lost cards so I will be adding it there as well. Here is a scan of the card and I have added some writing on it so in case someone sees the picture and knows where the card is...
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated and if someone can actually recover the card for me there will be a reward for it
Thanks so much for looking... here is the scan:

Thanks,
Tom

Can you tell us which province you live in. Better for those in the area to know, no need to post whole address just the province

Ask who your mail person is.
I heard a story where someone's mailwoman was a card collector and stole the cards.

people can be pretty low. this may sound crazy, but what if the card owner did this? he sent an empty box, making it look like it was stolen. a longshot, but probable. most likely, a postal worker did it, one who collects cards. i hope he/she gets caught and is charged

If he had to sign for it (registered mail) would he be able to go back on the Postal Service. Where did it get shipped from?
