I don't know...I've never had a hot pocket that wasn't cold in the middle...It could be that my microwave is older than I am....or it could be that people are scared to death of getting 3rd degree burns and undercook them...who knows

you HAVE to cook them the recommended time on the side, HAVE TO! and then let it cool for a few minutes (i mean like 10), and then u can eat it without leaving some scars, thats how it is for me
