Team Canada 2010 TTM Project

I seem to have caught the bug for getting photos signed. They just seem cooler than regular cards. When I was in Kelowna I decided to pick up some 8x10 photos to get them signed by some of the players that spend their summers there - there was a charity golf tournament and I was all ready to go. Unfortunately that didn't work out but I was able to have the future sister-in-law get me a couple things signed at a Kelowna Rockets alumni game: 8x10s of Josh Gorges and Shea Weber. This got me to thinking about what would be a cool project to do, and the natural conclusion was the prospective Team Canada 2010 Olympic Team. So I've got a list of the guys going to the Orientation Camp, and have these broken down according to the guys that I think will be there for sure, probably, maybe and not too likely:

I've never seen any crosbys back ttm. I've gotten him IP once and he was tough.

the flyer guys are all tough IP. carter is a complete ****, ditto richards. gagne is ok, but just doesnt sign much.

i've gotten iginla twice IP and he was cool. same for MAF

I've heard a lot of nice things about Iginla. One of my buddies back in Kelowna asked him if he would sign his full name on an 8x10 (which did elicit a laugh as his full name is Jarome Arthur-Leigh Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla) - he didn't get the full thing but he did get a very nice signature out of it.
Thanks for the heads-up about the Flyers boys - guess I won't mention I'm a Habs fan when I send the pics in eh? LOL

I've heard gagne signs ttm thru his agent, but i've never tried. might be worth a shot.

carter did a cheap IP event last summer (a benefit for MS). if he's at it again this year, I can prob get him for you. I will let you know when they announce the players attending.

I would be very surprised if Thornton, Phaneuf, Eric Staal, Green didn't make it.

That's a big feat for some of those players, that's for sure. A few don't sign TTM, a few are EXCELLENT signers, and a few others are hit or miss. Depends how much you want to risk your 8x10's on the miss part.

I'm around the Kelowna area.. what golf event was it you were hoping to attend??
