This is an excellent question. If so, they are definitely expired.
On that note, what would a company do for expired redemptions?

Sweet deal guys! Great rookies, wish I had the cash! But Nationals is coming up and since I can't go due to prior commitments, I gotta send some money to a friend to go shopping for me :)

I opened a box of 07 SP Auth Baseball and pulled 2 redemptions (actually have opened 3 boxes in the last year, but only 2 redemptions total) and they redeemed on of the Letterman Signature patches of Willingham and replaced another with a dual auto of Santana/Gooden. There is hope for some of these card companies!!!
