UD Habs centennial -series 2?

given the huge success of the centennial set, do you think upperdeck should produce a second series? If they did a second set, they could include all the players fromlast years team who didn't make it into the last set, and include everyone who plays this season before the 100th anniversary in December.

As much as I love this set, no. At this point anything with the words "Canadiens Centennial" conjures up bad bad memories of the 100th season.

They struck gold once, let's just leave it at that. Not every epic success needs a sequel.

My answer is no. But is there a single card from this set/inserts that can be considered as a "best card made in 2008-09"? I don't think it matches the best cards of Habs players/goalies made in UD Ultimate Collection or OPC Premier (and The Cup is coming out in about a month). The set sounds great, but I am not sure if people collecting single cards find this set that great. Maybe I am missing some great inserts made in the set.

No more Habs Centennial ANYTHING! As a life long Habs fan, I am trying very very hard to wipe the Centennial season from my memory completely.

There is such a concept as too much of a good thing.

The Centennial set was probably one of the best implemented ideas Upper Deck has had in a long, long time. I really don't think there's anything they could add to the set that would do anything but detract from what they've already created.

There's a number of candidates, be it the cut Rocket autos, the guys that did the AKA part of their AKA Signings properly (not Kovy), even the HOF set is pretty spectacular. As a whole, it's great, and if you get one of the epic short-printed autos, you've struck gold!
