Not a bad show. Managed to spend way more than I had planned. Got a Bogut Bowman Chrome red 5/5 and about a dozen other singles for my PC, plus my first couple of hobby boxes. Not nearly as many people as I expected, though with Nationals around the corner I suppose some people passed on this one. This was definitely more of a family friendly show than the Sun Times one earlier this year. Held on the main floor, so there is much more room to move around. Lots of moon-bounce and putt putt stuff for the kids. Even had a local wrestling card, too.
My only knock on this show is the lack of people selling newer singles. There was a ton of vintage stuff, which is cool but wasnt really what I was looking for. And just as a mini-rant; is it too much to ask for people to organize their cards somewhat? As much as I would like to see it all alphabetized, I'm not holding my breath. But when I'm going through stuff in boxes, couldnt it at least be organized by sport? What a pain in the butt.

Anyways, that kinda sucks.
Hey if you see AU Sports (IdK if they're there but they are my LCS) tell Xavier that Christian said hi. ;)

yah....
Yah..it wasn't a HORRIBLE show..but, I felt there was something lacking. The Wrestling was actually kind of irritating to me..lol. Those girls that just kept on screaming and cheering were gettin on my nerves..lol.
I also, noticed there really wasn't alot of 08-09 cards up there. There was plenty of high end..i.e. Kobe..MJ..Bron etc.. but, there wasn't really that many mid end cards. The organization really wasn't up to par either. Well..just keep in mind.. in 2 years from now we'll be hosting NATIONALS!!!

I didn't really drop that much, only about $200. I think between then and now..I'll just stick to the 'Orland Park' show. There's a much better range of cards and parking isn't $13<<<<!!!!!!!!!!

Man, is the Orland show really that good? I keep putting it off partly because I cant believe that my home town would have anything decent, but it would be a good excuse to head home for a weekend.
