I'm a student at Penn State. I am not positive, but I think they have a team policy against mail auto requests. I know they're pretty strict when dealing with media/press, etc.
Like I said, I am not positive, but I think you should keep trying.

Then how are people getting autos of players? I am a much bigger fan of the Nittany lions than eagles and would love to focus on that part of my collection.

LMK if anyone has had successes.

Tonight I sent an 8x10 to the following guys (all 09 draft picks)

    Jordan Norwood c/o Browns
    Aaron Maybin c/o bills
    Derrick Williams c/o lions
    Deon Butler c/o seahawks

Im hoping for at least 2 of the 4. I sent to Dan Connor c/o panthers with no luck (over a year) and Poz c/o bills with no luck. I have gotten a preprint from Michael Robinson and never heard back from justin king c/o rams either. Im getting frustrated with football players. Baseball is much more successful.

generally, i have to agree with the last post regarding baseball players being better signers. I did get PSU coach Ed DeChellis via email, but never had any luck with their players.

Then I guess Im just wasting money in sending them. I didnt have the time to head over to post office and may just skip it!!! Like I said, Connor, Poz, King, Robinson, all nothing!!!! Robinson was the only guy that sent back PP with my photo.

Its not like these guys are the tops of their game!!! I never sent to L. Johnson cuz he is actually great! I hear that people get his "signers" auto back. I dont want that!!!

Plus the rockvale outlets were a mad house!!! If I were in line, I prob would still be there another hour or so. Supposed to show at 12, when I left at 2 NOBODY THERE YET!!!

I am personal friends with players and I get in the locker room after every game because I have season tickets and I know the coaches. I get autos and make friends with the players every year. ( this started the year LJ broke the rushing record) so I knew him personally. All the players are very nice and always sign for me

    Cool

Glad to hear that you had some success with LJ! He has been rumored to use a ghost signer for his TTM requests. The only time I had seen him IP was at the combines in Indianapolis. He must have been having a rough day that day. I had just had Carson Palmer sign the football I took down there that day and spotted LJ on the other side of the street. I crossed over to get him while the other hounds were getting some other QB to sign for them. I approached LJ and asked if he had a second to please sign an autograph for me. He looked at me laughed and said " I do not sign for free!" He just kept on walking and I went after someone else. We all have bad days, but I will always remember a guy who not even signed a pro contract yet, just blowing off one single guy asking for an autograph. I had a friend who was lucky enough to end up with Air Jordan on a one and one situation in an elevator at the Circle Center Mall in Indy and he signed his three SI's for him that day. Most players are usually good one on one. Oh Well! Best of luck with your Penn State requests! Joe Pa would be one to truely treasure should you ever get him!

I am pretty sure Larry Johnson is ghost signed by his father. I live right by there and the one in the database is his parents address, Larry Johnson Sr.
