There is a common misstatement that it is not possible to overdose on marijuana. Many people argue that you would have to smoke very large amounts of marijuana in a short time to overdose. The fact is that marijuana has a half life, when you continue to smoke on a regular basis the THC level in your body continues to increase. This is an example of a cumulative overdose (Marijuana only). These are somewhat rare. It is easier to overdose when multiple drugs are combined.
The medical effects of marijuana are well documented in many medical journals. While Anti-Drug campaigning has produced many untrue statements, and questionable facts. Medical research is very clear Marijuana smoke is not good for you. It is not going to make you go crazy, cause brain damage (only temporary dysfunction), It can cause cancer (rate unknown).

In 1999 there were 187 documented marijuana overdoses in which the person had not consumed any other drug. There were 664 if you include people who overdosed on marijuana that had also taken other drugs. These are not overdoses on the other drugs they were taking.

So contrary to what some ignorant users might say posting lies about the drug, you can die and marijuana is FAR from harmless. Of course I guess its easy for me to say that since I have never been stupid enough to try it. Nor any type of tobacco product, for all I care they could get rid of all of it. I do drink, but if they got rid of that as well I could careless. Of course the government has to keep something around to tax the crap out of. :) I am not going to sit here and argue with potheads but defending the use of an illegal drug on a site where there are children is just stupid, of course listening to some of the people who replied on this post, a bunch of you are children.

i choose to do what i do... it's my choice. im not going out in the world telling people to DO IT DO IT... and i would never do that. i would love for it to be legalized, but it isnt. so i am pretty quiet about it.. haha

we all make our own decisions.. i do not smoke ciggs, and never will.

everyone can make there own minds up, and i realize that weed is NOT bad.

so yea... some people like it, some people dont.. thats what it comes down to.

I don't think he even meant it like that...you've made your point we all know driving on weed is still a DWI and dangerous and one reason why if mary jane does get decriminlized I think they should have strict driving laws just like drinking and just as it is with drinking, you should be able to do/drink as much as you want on your own property if your staying there the night.

I think he was talking about it doesn't impair you like other drugs...I'm not going to say i've experienced it, but I would be willing to guess a couple hits of lsd and you would be so impaired you wouldn't want your car keys where a couple hits of weed and yes you would be impaired, but I think you see what I'm getting at ;)

but dont go in your front yard if youre drunk they can arrest you for public intoxication even if its your own front lawn alot of people dont know that. and as long as marijuana is illegal i will not try or use it. its all about decisions and thats mine everyones are different

For the record, if marijuana were able to be detected in the system the way alcohol can as far as being under the influence, it would have a much higher chance of being legalized. Right now there is no test to see if you are currently under the influence besides the red eyes and the cravings for Funions.
