PSA Grading Question!!!
Hey everyone!
Does PSA grade the authenticity of the autograph on a card when it is sent in for grading? I cant find out. I know BGS grades the auto. Thanks!
Have a great day!!!

They will grade the auto and authenticate it but I'm not sure if that is an additional cost on top of grading.

Unless PSA is doing something different now, they do not grade autos, but will authenticate (PSA/DNA) an auto that is not authenticated by the manufacturer. Far as putting a number to it, they don't do that as BGS does. Not sure if that is what you guys are talking about or not.

I dont think psa grades autos. I think they only authenicate non pa ck pulled autos. Id stick with BGS thier tougher on grading, and bgs always holds more value over PSA for instance id rather have a BGS 9.5 then a psa 10

I just discovered last week that PSA does grade autos.

Their standards are not so clear though.

It speaks of auto grading photos and memorabilia, but not on slabbed cards.

True, but I think I've been seeing PSA slabs w/ an auto grade on them. If I come across one I will post it.
