That is dumb. The seller is in a Buffalo suburb and he of all people should know about Canada and hockey, LOL!

I find a good percentage of US sellers refuse to ship to Canada. I think this is mainly because:
1) some sellers hate to have out a customs form
2) they had one bad experience shipping to Canada and refuse to do it anymore
3) Customs can hold items for long periods of time and the blame gets placed on the seller, so they don't want to take the risk of negative feedback.
So the seller and PO is to blame. It's very frustrating to see a rare card you need and the seller refuses to ship to Canada, even if you have perfect feedback.

On #3 - unfortunately, I recently had a bad experience with a Canadian buyer. He said he never received the card, filed a Paypal complaint saying "hey I just can't give you 25 bucks". I just gave him a refund because I didn't want the hassle. It was my word against his, and I did ship the card. I suggested to him that if he wants to avoid this problem in the future, to only search for items that are being sold in Canada. He never answered.

I would bid for you but I am in Canada aswell. If he did send to Canada I know 100% he would get more for his card.
And read the description, it says a a rookie auto patch of Justin Abdelkader, LOL

I guess that does justify it......once one bad canadian customer comes along, US sellers just refuse to send stuff across the border

The only time customs will hold on to a package is if the custom form is not filled out correctly (they ship it back to the sender) or they need to inspect the content.
