Nope I don't have anything for online play.

If you have a high speed interent connection I can see if I can't find a network adapter laying around for ya, might take a couple days though.

I do but the TV with playstation isn't anywhere near the wireless modem. Is that a problem?

No, if you saw my PS3 setup you'd see a 50ft ethernet cable running from the modem in the kitchen out into my front room

They're inexpensive, and ok, let me add a long ethernet cable to list and see if I can't find one of those laying around as well

I appreciate it man but don't put yourself through too much trouble. I'm sure I'll be just fine without the updates :)

If you have the slim PS2 you don't need an adapter just a heads up. Only the old bulky PS2s need the adapters.

I bought an adapter ($3-4 or so at a garage sale lol) when I first got my slim, then gave it to a friend when I had the laugh of attempting to put on something it already had

Anyways I had manually updated Madden 09 until the day before the Super Bowl.

Then I turned it in at GameStop, still got the full $22 trade in, and saved it for Madden 10. Not bad for a $13 game getting 6-7 months out of it.
