okay...Lorenzo Neal IS one of the best blocking fullbacks in NFL history, no doubt.
But I argue that he's had extreme fortune in playing with some pretty talented backs in the prime of their careers...
Warrick Dunn (1998)
Eddie George (1999-2000)
Corey Dillon (2001-2002)
LaDainian Tomlinson (2003-2007)
Maybe it's the other way around....Maybe those guys could rush for 1000 yards even if you or I were their fullback?
Not to mention that he's 38 years old and entering his 17th NFL season

He reportedly de-cleated a 310 pound defensive tackle in blocking drills yesterday.

has 63 yard on 4 carries, seems to ge doing pretty darn good. He broke off a 45 yarder and is averaging 6ypc without the big scamper. pretty impressive anyone got any they want to comeoff of?

So obviously you didn't see one game during their college days. DMac was the better back. And still is. And that's not a knock on Felix, who has truly exceptional ability as well.
Funny, how they both had injuries last year---they were both healthy in college. Such is the nature of the game. I foresee a pretty darn good year for both of 'em, but DMac will hopefully prove any doubters wrong.

Whether or not has has 1000 yard season The Raiders overall are still not there. They have talent at key positions and they just cant seem to pull it all together. and once again I say it is management. IMO this is one of the worst managed teams in the NFL.
