I have always said, the only ratings in Madden that matter are speed, agility, and jump. Vick will surely have high ratings on the first 2, and that alone will make the Eagles one of the most, if not, the most used teams online in Madden. I used Philly a lot last year, and I will probably still use them. Their defense in the game is one of the top 3, throw in 2 solid RBs in McCoy and Westbrook, 3 speedy WRs in Maclin, Jackson and Curtis, a solid QB in McNabb, and now throw in Vick with his speed. This is going to be a TOUGH team to beat

The most important attributes vary by position, but awareness is by far the most important rating.

I'd also say acceleration is more important then agility.

And don't forget the solid possession receiver in Jason Avant to go along with those burners.

Sorry, but awareness takes a back seat to the 3 ratings I posted. Ask any serious madden gamer, they will agree with me. Look at Madden 09, the most dominant defensive player was Darrick Brown, Raiders 5th string CB, the guy is 6'4, speed was 97, jump was 96, and his overall was in the 50s. He would lock down any WR if used correctly.

So since I stated my opionion that awareness is the most important attribute that means I'm not a serious Madden gamer?

Maybe those 3 skills are important for CBs and WRs, but it definitely varies by position.

And acceleration is more important then agility, and ask anyone what the most important attribute is and they'll say awareness, regardless of position.

yet when you ask guys that have won madden challenges they always say speed is the most important Why do you think a lot of people use the Raiders? They are loaded with speed. Awareness is important too, but speed is still more important.

Awareness and speed are the 2 most important skills.

I never said speed wasn't important, it obviously is, but have you ever played with a guy with low awareness?

    It's ridiculous.

Awareness is the only universal skill that's important for all positions, followed closely by speed.

Are all of you guys ignoring the fact that Madden has a new rating system this year?

A 73 rating this year would be like and 85 in previous Maddens.
