    Unsigned draft picks...........

Just wondering other thoughts on this??? I mean u look at a guy like Andre Smith who was lucky to get drafted at the 6th pick as he is screwed in the head in some ways and just quite frankly is NOT that great of a talent but u gotta look my beloved Bengals drafted him and they have the bad habit thru history of making the worst draft picks possiable, but does this guy who has ballooned some since last season,(atleast at last check) couldn't cut it at combine, and had trouble knowing which agent to keep realize his value is droping even more, he would have to sign very very quickly and be in tip top shape to make any kind of impact this year and it's just a provin record that most not all but most holdouts tend to FLOP yea u may holdout and get the money up front but what happens to these guys when they flop and the 18 million or whatever is gone after agents fees and taxes and whatever else.

Then u look at Crabtree wanting Top 5 money when u were drafted at 9 for a reason, and with him not in camp other 49er WRS are stepping it up and it could almost come close to were they don't need him...I read the whole big re-enter next years draft thing but whats he thinking re-enter next year and MAYBE be a 3rd rounder at best because who wants a wr with 1 yr plus out of football basicly I mean u can practice and work out all u want with ur buddies but nothing beats the real deal with the team. And its just beyond stupid for a WR to hold-out WRs are pretty much the dime a dozen position in the league with very very very few WRs being considered ereplaceable, so thats ways big against him..................as far as the other guy goes don't know much about him so no comment in that

Aaron Maybin for the Bills is still holding out. He went right after Crabtree in the draft and is supposedly waiting to see what Crabtree gets. The thinking is that if Crabtree can get the 49ers to give him more than his slot would dictate, that Maybin could then ask for more.

O ok didn't know his reasoning. Just seems dumb to me more money now could mean alot less for these guys in the long run.

Smith is also holding out, because Al Davis is a freaking idiot and not only over drafted DHB, but he over paid for him as well.

Understandable that Smith wants more money then the #7 pick - Al Davis was just an idiot for paying the 7th pick much more then it should have been.

Davis didn't overpay DHB. He gave him a good deal for being the 7th pick. Crabtree is being a diva, and thinks he knows how much he should get paid, based on his college performance.

It sounds like he is looking for the same $$ that DHB got because he thinks he should have been drafted in that spot.

Maybe they should just let the players decide what spot they should have been taken and have teams pay them accordingly. lol

Some people just don't get it. Playing in the NFL is not a right, it's a luxury. 99.9999% of the people in this world would kill to have that kind of ability. Sign the contract, make more money than the vast majority of the world's population, and just get paid to play the game. I have no sympathy for people arguing over $100,000 when they'll make $25 million.

The longer they are out of camp the less likely they will have an impact this season. Since Smith has not shown the best work ethic I'm guessing when he does report he will not be in the best shape.

He wants more money than DHB, even though he was taken 3 spots behind him. That like Aaron Rodgers wanting the same kind of money Alex Smith got, even though he was taken at the end of the 1st round
