SCF NFL Defensive Player of the Year Contest! Sponsored by DaCardWorld!

Join us for a simple game, each week, all you do is pick the best defensive player for that week. Watch out for those bye weeks and make sure you pick a player who is actually playing. This is a season long contest, each weeks picks earn you points towards the year long contest.
HOW IT WORKS?
How do we determine who was the best player for each week? Contest will be based on 5 main defensive categories... Tackles, Sacks, Fumbles Forced, Interceptions & TDs.
First quarter of the season points per category (Weeks 1-4)
Tackle = 1 pt
Sack = 2 pts
Forced Fumble = 2 pts
Interception = 3 pts
Touchdown = 4 pts
Starting with Week 5 - New points for each category as it was too heavy for tackles:
Tackle = 1 pt
Sack = 3 pts
Forced Fumble = 3 pts
Interception = 4 pts
Touchdown = 6 pts
Contestants would simply pick any player for each week and at the week's end, we will tally up the stats to see who the best 5 players were. It does NOT matter if the player has been chosen already for the week.
Anyone who got the best would get 5 pts, 2nd best would get 4 and 3rd best would get 3, 4th best would get 2 and 5th best would get 1, all others... get 0 pts. At the end of the year, the contestants with the most points win the prizes. You can enter anytime as a two week hot streak could probably put you in the thick of it and if you miss a week, you are certainly not out of it.
RULES:
Post once per week with one players name, posts can be edited up until first kickoff each week - NO exceptions! That would normally be 1 pm eastern but later in the year, watch out for those Thursday night games. Posts should have only one player, they can be players already taken, any entries with more than one will be nullified. All SCF members & staff are eligible.
