Vikes had a pretty successful draft...Chad Greenway missed his rookie season, but has seemed to recover well from his injury and has done well for us. No real complaints, other than I wish T-Jack would've done better so far...
I can't complain, especially since Cedric Griffin is my favorite player. Overall a solid draft.
Chad Greenway - Starter
Cedric Griffin - Starter, 2nd Corner
Ryan Cook - Backup
Tarvaris Jackson - Capable Backup
Ray Edwards - Starter
Greg Blue - Gone

I can't complain about the Saints draft that year at all.
1) Reggie Bush - has not been the starter RB that, well to be honest only the media/hype machine predicted, but he has been a dangerous returner, has produced very effectively in the passing game and opened up opportunities for alot of other guys as he draws attention from defenses. He also was a much needed media lightning rod in a very bad time for the Saints organization. He's a part of the league's #1 offense so how can you argue.
2) Roman Harper - has been a struggling starter who is improving. He is a smart player who should get better being with Sharper and in Gregg Williams defense. Solid pick.
4) Jahri Evans- has been the unsung star of our offensive line. Coach Payton and many others in the league wonder why he has not been selected to a pro bowl yet. He's been a complete rock for us. Stellar draft pick.
5) Rob Ninkovich - didn't pan out, when to Miami and then came back to us. Was a bust but for a 5th rounder you don't expect stardom, you pray for it.
6) Mike Hass - very disappointed he didn't succeed. I thought he would be exactly what Lance Moore has become for us. Our second failed pick, but again a 6th rounder. Oh well.
6) Josh Lay - a wasted pick right out of the gate. Never made the cut.
7) Zach Strief - a 7th round pick who has produced into a starting caliber back up OT. He's filled in when Jammal Brown was hurt and played great. A great find again.
7) Marques Colston - could there be a better 7th round pick ever. He's been pro bowl caliber WR and had more catches in his first 2 years in the league than any player in history.
In my opinion we had 2- A+ picks, 1- B+, 2 B's, and a couple of late D's. Anytime one draft produces 3 starters, 2 backups that still produce effectively and can start you have had a great draft.

You are semi happy with Hawk and Blackmon, what about Jennings? I really like the PAckers 06 draft. Hawk does good but I think ever wants him to make more sacks, INT, fumbles etc. Jennings is probably the best WR out of the 06 draft. Blackmon is a good return and could be a future start at CB.

I don't know why he has struggled to become the playmaker he was in college. The guy has a rep for hard work and he's athletic, I'm not sure what's not clicking for him.

Pretty happy with the Panthers we have Deangelo Williams, Richard Marshall our new starting cb and Jeff King a awesome blocking TE that can catch.
so so players
Nate Salley 4th rounder safety always hurt but always seems to make the team
Will Montgomery a 7th round pick a decent player didnt work out he is with the Redskins
James Anderson a 3rd round pick LB never did much but still makes the team each year a good s/t guy
Stanley McClover a 7th round DE he has a ton of potential just gets hurt too much was with the Texans
Rashad Butler a 3rd tackle couldnt keep the weight on was cut by the Panthers he is now a Texan
Grade A+++++
Most of all the Panthers drafted in 06 still play in the NFL and we have the greatest RB of all time in Deangelo Williams so life is good.

This is just my opinion, but Colston is the best WR from the '06 draft class, hands down.
Especially considering the spot they got him at.

Have to disagree, Jennings is way better than Colston. I would put Jennings in the top 10 WRs in the NFL, can't say the same for Colston

I forgot about Colston. Hard for me to pick between the two, there are pretty even IMO.
