Once you have it saved, it will automatically update it for the entire game. So if you play offline franchise, it will be updated aswell

* Ellis Lankster added to Bills (D Florence removed – too low on depth)
Florence is the starting Nickle back right now (well he is out a few weeks but was)
..but I like Lankster getting added. He has had an amazing camp and 2 pre season games. 7th round pick, who looks like he is going to push for playing time this year - and the Bills have a stacked secondary.

* Ryan Harris – 85 OVR (was 74)…+11…severely underrated OL, Denver actually ranked as #3 and #1 against the run and pass.
* Ben Hamilton – 85 OVR (was 81)…+4…also a big part of that #3 overall Denver OL in 2008
* Ryan Clady – 91 OVR (was 90)…+1…see above…some already call him #1 LT in NFL
Nice to see these guys FINALLY get that boost they deserved. It only took Madden a year to figure it out!

I updated my roster through xbox live and saved it but it doesn't show or load unless its connected to the internet.
I moved my router to get temp internet access to update the roster then moved it back. When I turned the 360 back on later in the day the updated roster was unavailable. I then moved the router a 2nd time and was able to access the roster updates I had saved earlier. Do I need to be conected to have access to the saved roster updates?

Once you download it, it will ask you to save it. Once it's saved, you can use it offline.
